Help Is On The Way

Co-ops struggle with data management. It’s true of every co-op I’ve worked with over the past 8 years. We’re all piecing together multiple tools (think spreadsheets, email management systems, sticky notes, file folders, etc.) that get the job done, but are clunky and the opposite of user friendly. Wouldn’t it be nice to have ONE system designed especially for co-ops that worked REALLY well?

If you’ve attended any of my Capital Campaign Planning sessions at the Up & Coming Conferences over the last few years you likely remember being introduced to an application to help solve this data management problem (in relation to capital campaigns). That application has evolved and is shaping up to be a co-op specific CRM (Contact Relationship Management) system, which I am super excited about. This tool will allow early stage co-ops to manage ownership, volunteers, and prospective owners and will seamlessly transition into a capital campaign management tool.
