Zoom is great. In fact, it’s been a life-saver in many regards. But there is just something special about being WITH people. I had my first opportunity be with cooperators earlier this month.
My friends at Food Shed Co-op (FSC) will kick off their capital campaign later this fall and will be the second co-op in the country to use CoApp, the brand new Contact Management System designed for co-ops by co-ops. Myself and my partner Jess Buttimer had the honor and privilege to train FSC volunteers how to use CoApp. In Person. Face to Face. Real life.
It was fun and invigorating to be “back with my people” as my husband so eloquently put it as I eagerly packed up my car to head to McHenry County, IL. We were too busy having fun to take any pictures, so the picture here is from a previous Up & Coming Conference…but you get the idea. Nothing makes me happier than sharing what I love with fellow cooperators!
